HostDango Summer 2026 Update

HostDango Summer 2026 Update

This HostDango Summer 2026 update covers what’s happened since our last quarterly note in May — the blog, the continued infrastructure work, and what’s coming next.

TL;DR

BlogDango is fully running and will keep publishing twice a week. Infrastructure work continues as ongoing tuning rather than a single project. Nothing dramatic to report this quarter — steady, forward progress.

BlogDango Is Fully Up and Running

Back in May we mentioned we were finally starting a blog. This HostDango Summer 2026 update is a good moment to check in on that: it’s been running twice a week since then, covering hosting, WordPress, email, security, and the practical questions we hear most often in support tickets. If you haven’t looked yet, it’s at blog.hostdango.com.

The goal hasn’t changed — write the things we wish someone had told customers before they had to open a ticket. A few posts worth pointing to specifically if you missed them: why your WordPress site might be slow, what actually causes a site to get hacked, and how to create and restore your own backups in cPanel.

Continued Infrastructure Hardening

The major overhaul we covered in the spring — AlmaLinux, cPanel 134, MariaDB, Imunify360 — has stayed in active tuning since then rather than being a one-time project. Ongoing work this quarter has focused on further hardening at the network level, refining firewall rules based on real traffic patterns we’ve observed across the infrastructure, and continuing to monitor resource allocation to keep shared hosting performance consistent as usage grows.

We also did a documentation pass making sure customers have clearer, more specific guidance for common troubleshooting — which is really what the blog has become an extension of. If you’re curious what any of the underlying work actually does day to day, this post is still the most complete explanation.

What’s Coming Next

The content calendar for BlogDango runs well into the fall at this point, with a mix of practical how-to posts and honest comparison pieces continuing on the Tuesday/Thursday schedule. On the infrastructure side, we’re continuing to evaluate where additional automation and monitoring make sense — nothing dramatic to announce yet, but steady, ongoing improvement rather than big disruptive changes.
